Who Am I?

What’s up, homies?

If you’ve ever wished your home could do more for you, like dim the lights when you say so, keep your coffee ready before you’re even out of bed, or make life a little more fun and a lot more efficient,  you’re in the right place.

On this blog, you’ll find a mix of:

  • Honest reviews of the latest smart gadgets.
  • Practical guides and tutorials (no tech jargon, promise!).
  • Trends and ideas to inspire your own home upgrades.
  • And plenty of DIY projects to get your hands dirty — the fun kind, of course.

I’m Amelia! Welcome to Watt’s Up Home?

I’m not an engineer or a tech developer. I’m just a curious, hands-on smart home enthusiast who fell in love with gadgets, automation, and the idea of making life smarter, one device at a time. What started as a personal obsession with smart bulbs and voice assistants turned into a full-on passion for discovering, testing, and sharing all the cool tools that make home life easier, safer, and more fun.

Watt’s Up Home was born from that passion  and from the desire to help others (just like you!) navigate the growing world of smart home tech without feeling overwhelmed. Whether you’re looking for the best video doorbell, wondering how to make your lights dance to music, or just curious if a robot vacuum is really worth it… I’m here to help.

My Goal

My goal is simple: to make smart living simple, approachable, and actually fun. I believe that you don’t need to be a tech genius to enjoy the benefits of a connected home. And you definitely shouldn’t have to waste hours figuring out what works and what doesn’t . That’s what I’m here for!

When I’m not testing gadgets or rearranging my smart light routines (yes, again), you’ll find me curled up with coffee, browsing smart home forums, or geeking out over the next big thing in home automation. I’m a DIYer at heart, and I love turning everyday spaces into clever little havens.

Thanks for stopping by Watt’s Up Home?…
